Everyone is encouraged and welcome to camp at the Too Broke for Sturgis site, and tent camping is included in the registration fee, but for those who prefer hotels or motels, here is a list of Winslow hotels or motels:

We do have to have some rules. This is an adults only event. No underage purchase of alcohol allowed. No fireworks allowed due to proximity to an airport and it's also pretty darn dry out there folks! Wildfire threat is real. Also, dogs are welcome at your campsite (not walking around the grounds) but please leash them. If conditions change we may have to implement other rules, but hopefully not!

  • Are fireworks allowed at Too Broke for Sturgis?

    No fireworks of any kind are allowed.
  • Do I need to get our tickets in advance or is the day of ok?

    You can pay in advance(see store) or cash at the gate, ATM's are not available.
  • What's the scoop on being a vendor?

    Information on vendors and sponsorships can be accessed via links on the main page.
  • Will there be alcohol for sale?

    You are welcome to BYOB.
  • Is this a "family friendly" event?

    The event is an ADULT ONLY party, attendees must be at least 18 years old to enter. Proof of age will be required, with or without an accompanying adult/guardian. You must be at least 21 years old to drink alcohol on premise. Underage drinking will not be tolerated.

  • What about cabins or RV hookup?

    There are no cabins. RV camping is allowed with a $30 fee, but there are no hookups. There is plenty of room for both RVs and Tents. There are also plenty of nice hotels in town. These are listed on this website.

  • Is it possible to get there Thursday evening or earlier and be able to camp without having to move again the next morning?

    Yes, we open on Thursday at Noon. We will be collecting weekend pass registrations fees, $40 per person, $35 for ABATE members.
  • Is it OK to tent and bedroll?

    Absolutely yes.
  • Are there going to be enough camp sites?

    Camping will be first come-first serve, but the campground is fairly generous. We've got the whole dry campground.

  • How can I get a camping space?

    There ARE no pre reservations for tents or RVs, but there should be plenty of room and we do not anticipate running out of space. There will also be porta potti’s and handwash stations on site. Showers will be available at an indoor pool in town for $2.00. Flying J is nearby and McHood Park on Hwy 99.
  • Do you accept credit/debit cards?

    No credit cards are accepted and we do NOT have ATM machines available. Cash only.
  • What time does registration start on Thursday?

    Registration opens at noon on Thursday, in the campground at the event site.
  • Do I need to get our tickets in advance, or is the day of okay?

    You can purchase your tickets at the event or on line(see store tab on home page)
  • I am planning on attending the rally for the first time this year. Anything I need to do before I come up there?

    Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway! Nope, with the exception of packing your ride, bringing your wallet and filling your tank...you can just show up.
  • How do I get to Too Broke?

    Too Broke is in Winslow Arizona. See map for the location of the event within Winslow. To find by GPS look up 502 Airport Rd or Red Sands School.



  • Other bikes welcome other than Harleys?

    ABATE is for All riders, All bikes....so, Yes! We welcome all bikes, not just Harleys.
  • Can I join ABATE at the event?

    ABATE of AZ http://www.abateofaz.org . Too Broke, a Biker Event brought to you by a Biker's Rights Organization, is ABATE of AZ's annual fundraiser and an all-volunteer effort. All proceeds go the fight for your motorcycling freedoms.
  • How much does Too Broke cost?

    $40 weekend pass ($35 or ABATE members) , $25 for Saturday only. Entry includes free tent camping. RV camping costs $30 additional.
